Canseco is frisk averse

Whenever we hear the words "congressman" and "groping" in the same sentence (and let's face it, from time to time, we do) our natural assumption is that one of our esteemed federal lawmakers has done something wrong.

But Congressman Francisco "Quico" Canseco hit the local TV-news circuit yesterday to say that he was recently the victim of an aggressive frisking party led by a handsy TSA security agent at the San Antonio International Airport. The San Antonio Republican said the TSA agent was "patting me down where no one is supposed to go," and we can only dare to imagine where that might be. Canseco said he brusquely moved the agent's hand away, which led to a security free-for-all, with supervisors being called in.

A week later, Canseco was again singled out for a pat-down, and when he expressed his annoyance at being subjected to a second security check in the span of a week, things got testy and San Antonio police officers were brought in to help out.
