A video of U.S. Rep. Francisco "Quico" Canseco's infamous TSA pat-down at San Antonio International Airport aired last week on KENS 5, and while the evidence is hardly conclusive, it doesn't indicate the kind of aggressive and painful treatment that Canseco described. The frisking looks fairly routine, as these things go, and the most striking thing about the video is the way Canseco abruptly jerks away from the TSA agent and pushes the agent's hand away as soon as the search reaches the groin area.
Of course, a distant, grainy video can't fully convey what this experience was like for Canseco, and local Democrats aren't quite sure how (or whether) to make an issue out of it in this fall's general election.
