Two mayors think Museo-A&M deal has potential


Mayor Julian Castro is in favor of the talks between A&M University and the City over the future of the Museo Alameda, the struggling Latino culture museum at the entrance to El Mercado. A&M would bring prestige and financial stability to the five-year-old museum, Castro said as he navigated the crowds at Saturday's SA 2020 volunteer-outreach event. "As long as it keeps its character and identity."
