The Bexar County Appellate Public Defender is short two attorneys following the abrupt departure of Chief Appellate Public Defender Angela Moore a few weeks ago (it took her several days to retrieve a couple-dozen boxes of personal items she left behind). In the middle of a budget-crunch hiring freeze, that's no minor matter.
