The email from the Pre-K 4 SA campaign arrived just 27 minutes after the City Council agreed on August 9 to send Mayor Julián Castro's sales-tax-supported pre-kindergarten plan to voters. Under the subject line "A great day for pre-K!", the first sentence read: "By a vote of 11-0, the San Antonio City Council unanimously voted Thursday to place the 'Pre-K 4 SA' initiative on the November 6 ballot."
Totally accurate. But after reading the entire email, you're reminded once again that accurate isn't the same as true.
