City Council decided Thursday to wait two extra weeks to vote on a proposed San Antonio Water System rate hike, because some Council members wanted more time to have all their questions answered.
The proposed rate increase will be at least 7.9 percent and could balloon as high as 14.7 percent if the Edwards Aquifer Authority's board decides early next year to raise its fees.
